Internal webserver is on a separate VLAN and doesn't have direct access to the VLAN SCADA resides on. ![]() Cannot use data source definition method to access the data from the SCADA Database. Why don't you use the data source definition option within Excel to get the data? This file uses a plug in from our SCADA vendor to get the data. Just giving a 5 second buffer in case it was to take longer(never has but being safe i guess). How do you make sure that loading of data doesn't exceed 5 seconds? Loading of data is instantaneous. What kind of data does this excel document load? This document loads data points and records from a SCADA database. Unable to make any changes to the actual process so I'm doing my best to work with what I got. But that is how this particular process is set up where I work.
